How did they make so much money so quickly? It's bull! Discover the "dirty little secret"...
I'll be the first to admit it. You know, when you come across a new product with a headline that claims, "Find Out How So-and-So Made $200,000 After Only 6 Months Online!" ...
Well, you tend to do the obvious. You compare yourself. You pout, you scratch your head, you run around in circles trying to figure out why YOU haven't made that much money in such a short amount of time. Gosh, you tell yourself, I must be downright DUMB if someone else could sit down at their computer one day, double-click on the Internet Explorer icon and start generating serious cash in a matter of months...and I've never done it.
At least, that's what I used to do.
The result of such a reaction is a decrease in self confidence and more time spent worrying about HOW to make money more quickly than actually DOING something about it.
After some time of this, however, I began to notice a pattern.
People like Frank Garon, Yanik Silver, and Corey Rudl are known for earning a sizeable income online, and experiencing this at a rapid incline. Yanik made $115,000 in six months, Frank made over $115,000 last year, and Corey's not yet 30 but did $6.6 million in 'Net business last year.
We want to be just like them, right? Overnight successes?
Bull.
These guys have been at it for years, and we're simply too blind to take note of the fact.
Human nature rarely allows us to see past the "$115,000 in six months" aspect of the situation. Each of these marketers clearly expresses that he's been marketing for years, but we don't take notice.
Why? It ruins the excitement. The burning desire in us reaches a peak that says, "HE made a million dollars in three months...it's possible for ME to do it, too!" Grasping the knowledge that their success has been gradual is not a first reaction because that's not what we want to hear.
The down n' dirty facts prove otherwise.
Corey's catapulted his online success to a $6.2 million a year business. At 29 years old, he openly says he started out in offline business ventures in his family's basement when he was 16. Total marketing experience? Thirteen years.
Frank made over $115,000 in 12 months. He pulled his family out of $50,000 in debt and now has the freedom he once only imagined. Yet, if you look closely, you'll see that he's been at network marketing -- failing, testing, and finally succeeding -- for six years.
Yanik generated an amazing $115,000 in his first six months online. Read into his history a bit and you'll realize he began marketing offline through his father's business when he was 14. At 26 years old, he's had twelve years of marketing experience.
If you've been online for several months or several years, yet haven't experienced the same success as these well-known marketers, give yourself a break. These guys didn't sit down at their computers one day with no marketing knowledge and no technical background and create an avalanche of cashflow.
Each of them had previous marketing experience -- many years of it.
If you have the desire to replicate their success, do exactly what they did. Bite the bullet, plough head-on into the Internet marketing roller coaster. Like them, you will experience success if you persevere. That's not a maybe or a condition. You WILL.
It takes years of hard work to become an overnight success.
